Message: We're all familiar with common table talk and expressions, both technical, humorous, and/or pejorative. Here are a few more for you to incorporate into your vernacular...

1. C-bet - short for continuation bet. The bet the pre-flop raiser usually does after the flop.

2. Donk Bet - When someone cold calls a pre-flop raise and then leads into the raiser postflop. It's called a "donk bet" because the raiser will probably c-bet it giving you the chance to check-raise him/her. Online, donk bets should be raised with impunity.

3. Float - When you have position on the pre-flop raiser you can "float" his/her passivity by "betting with air" when they check since you figured they missed. Use sparingly.

4. Ship - When you take down a monster pot, look the donkey(s) in the eye and tell them to "Ship it!"

5. Cooler - Generally accepted to mean that you had the second best possible hand and ran into the nuts, hence the "cooler."

6. Donkament - When a tournament is filled with donkeys, tools, knobs and other embarrassments to the poker community, its known as a donkament. "Dude, I had so many ass players at my table, it was the most profitable donkament of all time."

7. Ridonkulous - When your top set gets outdrawn by a runner-runner, look at the ass hat that just did it to you and say "That was sooooo ridonkulous!"

8. Donkalicious - You use this when you're out of the action and see a truly donkified hand play out. Always give a "donkalicious" as a compliment to the winning player if he/she is a solid player, and just watched someone donk off their stack.

9. Luckbox - An insanely donkified and lucky player. The donk that will call a 3-bet preflop raise with junk, hit the flop, and send you to the rail, all the while proclaiming that he teaches others how to play. Luckboxes should be burned at the stake on a regular basis for entertainment purposes.

10. ATC 85 - Any Two Cards 85% of the time - You can tweak this however you see fit. I have personally witnessed the same player (nameless of course) go ATC 100 on multiple occassions, hit every damn flop imaginable, and luckbox a few wins. Wait until the math catches up with you, a-hole.

Message: Every year THE STADIUM holds a toy drive to help under privelaged children in our area. This year NORTHSIDE POKER LEAGUE has decided to join in their efforts.

Here's the deal:

Bring in any NEW, UNWRAPPED toy for a boy or girl ages 12 & under & receive ONE RED CHIP! (We're encouraged to collect toys ranging from $10-$15. Bringing in a single Hotwheels or some dollar store toys isn't going to cut it, Folks.) Only 1 toy chip per game. You may bring in 1 toy for EACH GAME & receive one chip PER GAME! You have from now till Sunday, December 20 to participate. OFFER GOOD FOR THE STADIUM ONLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Remember, more toys = more chips!

Ok people, I've had some requests to add a blog page. So, here it is!!!  Here's how it works...I've set up three categories-Complaints, ...About Last Night, & Bad Beat Street.  You can add whatever messages, comments, pictures, etc. (UPON MY APPROVAL) that you want.  Just remember though, everyone will be able to read what you write, including the person that you're "talking about", and you'll probably see that person the next day.
