ABOUT US

NorthSide Poker League is a recently established poker league that hosts free Texas Hold Em’ poker tournaments in North Houston .  The league promotes a fun atmosphere of friendly competition.  The league is free to join and free to play.  All you have to do to become a member is sign up and play.

NorthSide Poker League poker tournaments will be held at various locations around this immediate area.  Please refer to the NorthSide Poker League Playing Times/Locations sheet for further details.

 

POINT STRUCTURE

 

 1st Place    1200 pts                                          6th Place     600 pts

2nd Place    1000 pts                                          7th Place     500 pts

3rd Place      900 pts                                           8th Place     400 pts

4th Place      800 pts                                           9th Place     300 pts

5th Place     700 pts                                          10th Place     200 pts

 Participation 50 pts                                        “The Bubble” ( 11th  Place)  100 pts

WHY PLAY WITH NORTHSIDE POKER LEAGUE

  • Every three months we will host a Quarterly Tournament for all players with 4500 or greater points, and a minimum of 20 games played-- where 1st place will receive $600, 2nd place- $300, and 3rd place- $100.
  • We will have a roll-over pot that will increase by $20 each day we run a venue.  In order to win the pot, a participant must win two consecutive daily venues*—for example, if you win a Monday 10 o’clock venue you must win the very next venue which would be Tuesday 7 o’clock.  If nobody wins two consecutive venues, the pot will continue to grow. The pot will re-start at $100.
    *Eligible participants must have a minimum of 12 games played per Quarter.
  • Each month we will host a Monthly Venue consisting of the top 20 point leaders plus all 1st place winners for the month.  The 1st place winner will receive a personalized engraved poker championship bracelets and $100 cash!!

As with Poker, it’s all about the odds.  NorthSide Poker League is a recently established poker league designed to be all about the players and players only.  We will gladly accept all comments, concerns, and suggestions, and we will do all we can to accommodate you.
